The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity’s congregational meeting is this Sunday, December 10, immediately following Mass (12:20 p.m.) to: 1-ratify the constitution approved on October 15 (mandated by current constitution); 2-review the 2018 Holy Trinity annual budget (there will be no vote on the budget  though there will be an opportunity for questions); 3-approve the annual congregational meeting for February 2018.   All members are urged to be present for this important meeting.

at Christmas

Take 40 people to lunch for Christmas…This Saturday afternoon ministry provides warm meals in Holy Trinity’s Community Room for 40-50 people living in SRO hotels, on the streets, and in other situations in our community.  As a Christmas gift to someone you love, make a gift in their honor of any amount ($5 or $10,000) so we can continue this ministry. Make your check to “Holy Trinity Lutheran Church” with memo line “Saturday Meal.”

Holy Trinity members and friends are creating the 2018 Lenten booklet based on Saint Mark’s Passion. You are invited to prepare a reflection, poem, or art work for inclusion in the booklet.   If you did not have an opportunity to sign up for a passage last Sunday, please see Kim Suttell this Sunday.

2018 Pledging 24% Higher
than Last Year

hank you to the 61 (21 new pledges) member/households who have made pledges to Holy Trinity’s ministry for 2018, totaling $275,944.  This is a 24% increase over last year and a nearly 100% increase over the year before!  If you have not had an opportunity to pledge yet, please get a commitment card at the kiosk or from an usher and place in the offering plate on Sunday.
