Matthew 26:62-64

The high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer? What is it that they testify against you?”  But Jesus was silent. Then the high priest said to him, “I put you under oath before the living God, tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”  Jesus said to him, “You have said so. But I tell you, From now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

You have said so. But I tell you
what you do now was always done,
says the Son of Man on the throne.

By others’ oaths we must construe
your blasphemy, as you voice none.
So have you said. So I tell you

my silence is a witness to
the power held by God alone
and the Son of Man on the throne.

That is no answer, false or true.
Just say one word, that you atone.
You have said them, as I tell you.

But they are begging us to sue,
your followers are fled and gone
from the Son of Man, from his throne!

What I lose in this day or two
will return ten thousand grown.
You will say so, as I tell you:
See the Son of Man on the throne.
