Final Discussion of Holy Trinity’s Baptismal Font

Participants will share thoughts on the best location for Holy Trinity’s baptismal font. We have discussed the history of baptism and looked at placement of fonts in other churches. Now we consider where best to place our font.

Sunday, October 30, is Reformation Sunday as we observe the 499th year of the Reformation. Join us for worship and, immediately following, there will be a “Brat and Beer Extravaganza.” Brats and mustard will be provided. Please bring one or some of the following: pretzels, rolls, sauerkraut, rotkohl, spaetzli, potato salad, cucumber salad, green salad, German-inspired desserts.

10:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Midnight Mass. The quintet cost will be $2,500. If you are interested in gifting the entire quintet or part of it, be in touch with Pastor Miller.
Holy Trinity member Maritza Ortiz Cruz will be ordained on Friday, October 28, 6:00 p.m., at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 155 E 22nd Street. All are welcome to attend.

MAKE – UP DATES SET FOR HOLY TRINITY’S MEMBER DIRECTORY PHOTOS!
WHEN: SUNDAY, December 18th (12 pm to 6:50 pm) and MONDAY, December 19th (2 pm to8:50 pm). Please mark your calendars. Sign-up Sheets and a website will be available in the near future.
WHO: YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! Any Member or Family who did not have their photo taken during our initial sessions, anyone who wants a Retake of their original photo or any In-Process New Members who wish to be in the Photo Directory.
HOW IT WORKS: All individuals and families who sit for a portrait will receive a FREE 8″x10″ photo and a printed directory with no pressure to purchase anything. You can select from digital proofs on the day of your photo session and purchase additional portraits, if desired.
WHERE: ALL SITTINGS will be held at Holy Trinity in the library on the 2nd floor.
