worship
Like all Lutheran churches, worship at Holy Trinity is centered upon Word (the Gospel) and Sacrament (Baptism and Holy Communion). What makes worship at Holy Trinity unique is the deep emphasis placed on liturgy and music. We worship in the evangelical catholic tradition of the Lutheran Mass and maintain many of the worship practices and customs inherited from the clergy and worship assistants; the chanting or singing of the liturgy, readings, and psalms; regular celebration of Holy Communion; and the occasional use of incense.
Holy Trinity is now open for in-person worship on Sunday mornings at 11 am. The worship time does not change during the summer. Masks are required while inside the church. You can also watch our live-stream on our YouTube channel or on our Facebook page.
Visitors to Holy Trinity will have plenty of opportunities to sing throughout the service in the form of hymns, psalms, and prayers, and it is not uncommon to find yourself singing in four-part harmony with your neighbors in the pews. Music at Sunday morning mass is provided by Holy Trinity’s Cantor and Parish Choir.
The Parish Choir consists of both professional and auditioned volunteer singers and leads the assembly’s song weekly from October through June. Rehearsals are Sundays at 9:30AM. If you are interested in joining the Parish Choir please contact the office for more info.
